You have the wheel on our whitewater kayak tour. Paddling your own kayak, you'll navigate through the unforgettable Ötztaler Ache, guided and supported by seasoned professionals in small, personal groups (maximum 5 participants per guide). This is the real deal, in contrast to conventional rafting: You decide what the line is. You set the pace. It's your challenge.

Tour schedule:

After a short introduction and explanation of the most important techniques and rules of conduct in white water, you'll head straight into the cool water and glide through the unique mountain world of the Ötztal valley in our inflatable kayaks. The section of the Ötztaler Ache that is navigated is chosen in such a way that there is always something to do and boredom is guaranteed not to happen. A tour takes around three hours including transfer, making it an ideal half-day activity.

Tour times

Morning (start time: 09:00, duration: 3 hours)

Afternoon (start time: 13:00, duration: 3 hours)

Evening (start time: 16:00, duration: 3 hours)

Meeting point

The meeting point for our whitewater kayak tours is at the rafting entrance of the Ötztaler Ache on the outskirts of Oetz (Brandachbrücke parking lot).

Prerequisites

To take part in the whitewater kayak tour, you must be able to swim confidently, be in overall good health, and be at least 14 years old and 150 cm tall.
